Job Interview

Mrs. Peters: Good morning Angela. Nice to meet you. Please have a seat.

Angela: Thank you. It's nice to meet you too.

Mrs. Peters: Did you have any problems finding our building this morning?

Angela.: Actually, no. Your receptionist gave me excellent directions when I called yesterday.

Mrs. Peters: So, Angela I was just reading over your resume, and you say here that you graduated from a 6- month training program in the day-care field.

Angela.: Yes, I graduated at the top of my class.

Mrs. Peters: Good, good. . . so can you tell me why you are interested in working with children?

Angela: Hmmm, I grew up in a big family - 5 of us - and as the oldest, I had to help with my brothers and sisters. I like the responsibility and I enjoy the challenges of looking after children.

Mrs. Peters: Great. Now, before we go on, can I verify some information on your resume?

Angela: Certainly.

Mrs. Peters: Is your address 6315-72st NW current?

Angela: No, actually, I'll be moving to a new place next week. The new address is #31 4706-23 Ave SW and the new postal code is T3B 1A6, not T3E 4A7.

Mrs. Peters: Okay, thank you. Now, before you go today, please give our receptionist your new address. She will also arrange a tour of the day-care for you. How about Monday at about 8:00am?

Angela: That sounds great.
